Check a planned place, post what you noticed in one line, and add a photo or optional location. Planned stops and unexpected detours stay together in time order.
01 CHECK THE PLAN
Open View plans from the timeline to check every day you arranged before the trip. Planned spots are separated into those not yet added to the timeline and those already recorded.
Open any spot in Google Maps, then add it to the current day when you visit. For an unplanned detour, create a new spot on the road and keep it in the same timeline.
02 POST
Post what you noticed in a single line instead of writing a finished diary entry. A post needs either text or a photo; choose a photo from the camera or library and edit it before attaching it when needed.
Location is optional for each post. When enabled, you can see its acquisition status before sending, or leave it off and keep the moment without a place attached.
03 PRIVATE TIMELINE
Short posts and visited spots share one chronological timeline for each day. This travel record is private to you, and after the trip you can still add, edit, or delete posts and correct their recorded time.
If a connection drops and sending fails, the entry stays in the timeline so you can retry or discard it. The mobile app stores pending records encrypted for the same account so they remain available after a restart.
